Nanoseal Sealer

LIFETIME, Protection for Granite

Whether you are purchasing granite countertops for the first time or you have had them for years, Nanoseal sealers can give you peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. The Nanoseal system is the only way to permanently protect your countertops. Nanoseal is an exclusive applicator of Tekon Universal Sciences. The Nanoseal process is a onetime application that fundamentally alters the surface of your granite countertops. Once your countertops have been treated with Tekon they will never have to be sealed again, making them virtually maintenance free. The Nanoseal process creates a covalent bond at the atomic level. The surface becomes water and oil phobic, simply making your countertops stain proof. Nanoseal is under warranty for the lifetime of your granite countertops against any adverse change to the coated surface, including appearance, visual clarity and most importantly staining. The Nanoseal process can be applied to new and existing granite countertops. To ensure your satisfaction we offer this guarantee. If any adverse changes occur to your stone or other material, we will repair, replace and recoat the applicable surface at our expense. There isn't any other product that can make this guarantee; Tekon is the only true nano-technology sealer on the market today.

NANO-TECHNOLOGY, What is it?

Tekon Universal Sciences has developed cutting edge nano surface treatment technology that surpasses all other conventional treatments. This technology is based on nano sized particles that bond to the stone at extreme depths. To put it in perspective, a nanometer is one-billionth of a meter, which is the width of about three to five atoms. For a bit of perspective, the size of the nano molecules in Nanoseal’s sealers are one million times smaller than a grain of sand. The diameter of DNA, our genetic material, is in the 2.5 nanometer range, a sheet of paper is about 100,000 nanometers thick. This is how Tekon is able to bond to your countertops at the atomic level. Once the product is applied, the nano sized particles create a smooth layer that is super hydrophobic; liquids will literally float on a cushion of air. This leaves the surface stain repellant, anti static, hygienic and easy to clean.

NANOSEAL, How does it work?

Glass, stone, metal and other architectural materials have microscopic pores that collect contaminants such as water, dust, oil, salt, mildew, bacteria, and lime. Constant exposure to these contaminants spots, stains, corrodes and oxidizes the surface destroying the new, natural look of the material. Once these contaminants penetrate the surface pores they are difficult to remove. When harsh chemicals are used to clean these surfaces, they open the surface pores inviting more contaminants and speeding the destruction. Silica materials such as glass, stone, and porcelain actually attract contaminates like a magnet because they contain an unbound oxygen molecule just looking for a contaminant to bind to. The Nanoseal formulation uses molecules that bind to a solid surface in a self-assembled monolayer organization. In the case of glass we bind oxygen molecules to carbon, chemically bonding to the surface at the molecular level. This process provides a diamond-like surface that resists scratching and repels contaminates. The second stage in our patented system fills the pores with seven co-polymers making a super-hydrophobic surface. The final product is a surface that is anti-microbial, anti-static and super-hydrophobic. Contaminates are limited the surface of the polymers making clean up a breeze. Surfaces are maintained with far less effort. You will find rings in the toilet and bathtub; hard water spots and stains are a thing of the past.

RESPONSIBILITY, Health and Environmental

Nanoseal understands and emphasizes the importance of environmental responsibility in the products we offer and in our business practices. We believe that environmental responsibility begins at home. Not only in providing surface protection for your investment, but creating a safe and healthy environment for you and your family. For example, when silica materials like granite, glass, porcelain and stainless steel are left untreated they actually attract containments like a magnet. Furthermore, when harsh chemicals are used to clean these untreated surfaces they actually open up the pores of the surface and make them more inviting for containments while at the same time speeding up the destruction process. The Nanoseal process fills in these microscopic crevices utilizing nano-technology creating a super hydrophobic surface. The harmful contaminants simply do not have anywhere to bond to. This makes your countertops and other surfaces, free from the bacteria, mold, fungus and other environmental contaminants that cause staining, corrosion and oxidation. Because these contaminants cannot spread, your countertops will become more hygienic and easy to clean, thus reducing the need for harmful chemicals and improving the indoor air quality of your home. Choosing Nanoseal shows your commitment to protecting your family and our environment while engaging in green living.
